matcha bowl - white blush
Elegant white matcha tea bowl handmade in Japan.
Featuring a white glaze outside, a soft blush glaze inside and a natural finish on the rim.

As each bowl is handmade in Japan, no two bowls are exactly the same and may slightly vary from the one pictured.
Measurements: 4.5” in diameter and 2.75” tall
BAMBOO WHISK (CHASEN)
Traditional 100 tine whisk, hand carved from white bamboo.  This "chasen" is used to whisk the matcha in a bowl to achieve a creamy froth. 

For best results:
Moisten the tines with warm water before use.
Take care not to apply too much downward force while whisking as this damages the tines.
Let the whisk air dry after each use. 
It is best stored on a whisk holder to maintain the integrity of the delicate bamboo. 
CELADON WHISK HOLDER
This "Chasen-tate"allows the bamboo whisk (chasen) to properly dry after each use as well as maintain the whisk’s integrity and shape.
STAINLESS STEEL MATCH SIFTER
Brushed stainless steel matcha sifter with stainless steel bowl.  

Compact and light, this sifter will eliminate any clumps from the matcha.   
The stainless steel bowl, catches any powder residue and acts as a stand for the sifter.   

Matcha powder sometimes forms clumps much like flour due to the static electricity in the air.  The simple solution is to sift the matcha which eliminates clumps, and allows a smoother more enjoyable experience.   

For best results: Use your bamboo scoop (chashaku) to push the matcha powder through the sifter.  

Measurements: 5.5 inches long x 2 inches in diameter.
BAMBOO MATCHA SCOOP (CHASHAKU)
Traditional matcha scoop made from white bamboo.  This “chashaku” is lightweight with a curved end to make scooping matcha powder easy.  

For best results: Wipe the matcha residue from the scoop with a dry, soft cloth or tissue after each use.
